Real or Fake?
Ok, get your minds out of the gutter! I'm talking about nails. Maybe it is just a Jersey thing but I still see a lot of ladies getting fake nails for their weddings. I have worn fake nails before (acrylics, tips and wraps or whatever they are called where you are) and usually wear them very short. I'm torn. Should I just get a regular manicure on my natural nails or go for the fake nails? What do you think?

I'm doing real, b/c the fakes do some damage to your nails!
I never have fake nails but for my wedding I did. It made my pictures look so much better. Plus, one time didn't damage my nails.
I'm a purist -- real all the way.
I have never had fake nails. I have no desire, just love my manicures and french manicures.
The recent trend... more environmental is to have a buff manicure without polish. That's what I've been doing for about the past year and of course, it's the easiest to maintain.
Real nails all the way!
REAL!!
i'm all about being natural!
GO real..... anything fake on your wedding day is a bad omen.... plus I always think that fake nails are such a right now thing... when you look back in 50 years you want to look classic, not out of date.
I think it depends on the length of your natural nailbeds. I have very long nailbeds and when I had acrylics, it looked like I had talons! They were too much. Now I go with a regular manicure once a week and my nails look great.
My friend has much smaller'shorter nailbeds, and she wears acrylics. They look great on her and I would never tell her not to have them.
I had fake nails done for my wedding. When I was tired of dealing with them and had them removed my nails were ruined! I would go with a French Manicure on your natural nails.
I vote for real nails, cut short like you usually wear them and just a regular manicure with a light color or a french manicure. I just do not like fake nails at all...especially if you are not used to them!! they will feel weird all night and not look like "you"!
I've had both and personally I'm much bigger fan of real nails and a good manicure. Fake nails tend to look a tad 'trashy' sometimes, especially if people aren't used to them on you plus your nail beds will be in rough shape until they grow out once you take the fake nails off.
Go real, you'll never look back at the pictures and wish you had fake ones.
